Vermont’s biggest car show, Hildene, takes place this coming weekend in the town of Manchester, located a short, 22-mile drive from the headquarters of Hemmings Motor News.
This will be the 21st year for the event. This year’s featured marque is Studebaker, and the special guest and grand marshal will be legendary stock car driver Junior Johnson.
About 800 to 1,000 cars take part in this show, which also includes an extensive swap meet and car corral. The show field is a mere two miles from downtown Manchester, where the headquarters of Orvis is located, along with many other fine outlets.
The event takes place on June 9-10. For more details, call 800-362-4144, or visit www.manchestervermont.net/carshow.
